The Shift4 One turned up free, set up in minutes, and we've not paid a penny in rental since. Our card fees are down by around £180 a month.
No wires, no monthly bill, and the money's in our account by the next morning. After years of renting a clunky terminal, it almost felt too easy.
It lives in my apron pocket. Markets, festivals, the lot — the built-in 4G means it just works wherever I'm trading.
Customers tap, the receipt prints, done. Switching over from our old provider took one quick call and saved us a small fortune.
Taking card at the table instead of walking people back to the till has genuinely sped up our service on busy nights.
We do — both towns and everywhere between them. We supply the free Shift4 One card machine across Neath, Port Talbot, Baglan, Briton Ferry, Skewen, Pontardawe, Cwmavon and the surrounding valleys, on the SA10 to SA13 postcodes.
None. No upfront payment, no monthly rental, no setup charge. You pay only a competitive transaction rate that we tailor to your business — and nothing for the hardware itself.
Yes. With built-in 4G the Shift4 One takes payments wherever there's a mobile signal, so seafront kiosks, event pitches and pop-ups along the prom are no problem at all.
Absolutely. It doesn't need fixed broadband — the built-in 4G handles everything. It's ideal for indoor market stalls, weekend markets and anyone trading from more than one spot.
Typically 3 to 5 working days. We'll deliver to your premises in Neath or Port Talbot, get you set up and stay with you through your first payments.
Next working day. Take a card payment today and it's in your account tomorrow — handy for cash flow whether you're a café, a garage or a market trader.
Usually, yes. Many local businesses switch even mid-contract because the ongoing saving more than covers it. Send us your current statement and we'll show you the comparison honestly before you decide.
Chip and PIN, contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay — everything your customers expect. It's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified for bank-grade security on every sale.
Trading carries on. The machine falls back to its built-in 4G automatically, so a dropped connection in the workshop or the back bar never stops you taking card.
Fill in the form on this page or call us. We'll have a quick chat about your business, confirm the Shift4 One is right for you and send it out — completely free.
