The Shift4 One turned up free, set up in minutes, and we've not paid a penny in rental since. Our card fees are down by around £180 a month.
No wires, no monthly bill, and the money's in our account by the next morning. After years of renting a clunky terminal, it almost felt too easy.
It lives in my apron pocket. Markets, festivals, the lot — the built-in 4G means it just works wherever I'm trading.
Customers tap, the receipt prints, done. Switching over from our old provider took one quick call and saved us a small fortune.
Taking card at the table instead of walking people back to the till has genuinely sped up our service on busy nights.
Yes. We supply and set up the free Shift4 One across Llanelli and the wider area — the town centre, Llwynhendy, Dafen, Felinfoel, Bynea, Burry Port and Pwll, on the SA14 to SA15 postcodes.
The lot. From Stepney Street and the town centre to Parc Trostre, Parc Pemberton, Machynys, the North Dock waterside, Llwynhendy and Burry Port. Wherever you trade around Llanelli, we can get a machine to you.
It is. No upfront cost, no monthly rental and no setup fee. You only pay a competitive transaction rate that's tailored to your business — never a flat one-size-fits-all percentage.
Yes. The built-in 4G means it takes card payments without fixed broadband, so indoor market stalls, Burry Port harbour pitches and weekend markets all work straight out of the box.
Definitely. Whether you're in a retail unit at Parc Trostre or Parc Pemberton or an independent on Stepney Street, the Shift4 One takes every card and wallet on one free device.
Usually 3 to 5 working days. We'll get it to your premises, set it up and stay with you while you take your first few payments.
Next working day. A card payment you take in Llanelli today is in your bank tomorrow — no waiting around for settlement.
Most of the time, yes. Plenty of Llanelli businesses switch even with time left on an old deal because the saving outweighs it. Send us your statement and we'll go through it with you first.
Chip and PIN, contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. The Shift4 One is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, so every payment is bank-grade secure.
